Job System Adjustments

Job Participation and Job Transfers

 Job participation rates will be determined based on the following two conditions:

Condition 1:

- Based on the total number of members in each faction. However, only the top 1000 highest-level characters on the server will be considered:

  • In each server, among the top 1000 highest-level characters, the total number of Trader & Hunter (based on level coefficient) must not differ from the number of Thief by more than 15%.

For example, in the top 1000 highest-level characters, there are:
+ 20 Traders at level 80, 10 Traders at level 90, 20 Hunters at level 85, 15 Hunters at level 90
+ 60 Thieves at level 90, 15 Thieves at level 80
=> Total number of Traders/Hunters calculated by level coefficient is: 20x80 + 10x90 + 20x85 + 15x90 = 5550
=> Total number of Thieves calculated by level coefficient is: 60x90 + 15x80 = 6600
=> Trader/Hunter ratio : Thief ratio = 5555 : 6000 = 46% : 54%

  • This ratio will only be considered for characters whose level is in the top 1000 highest-level characters in the server. Characters outside the top 1000 will not be considered.

Condition 2:

- Based on the total number of members in each faction. After considering Condition 1, Condition 2 will be considered:

  • In each server, the total number of Trader and Hunter (based on level coefficient) must not differ from the number of Thief by more than 50%. This condition will apply to all characters on the server.

Job Refresh

  • Removed the mechanism where a job would be deleted if the character was offline for more than 14 days.

Job Support Buffs

  • Based on condition 1 (top 1000 characters with the highest level). The faction with a lower Job rate will receive a support buff.
  • If the system grants a buff to a faction, all characters in that faction will receive the buff effect while in Job status.
  • The buff effect lasts for one day. The next day, the system will re-determine which faction receives the buff based on that day's Job rate.

Let X be the difference in Job rates according to condition 1. Details of the buffs are as follows:
